Disphenyl isooctyl phosphite is an organophosphorus compound. It is a plasticizer and a flame retardant. The said product is a white solid that is hardly soluble in water and has a mild odour. To have a synergistic effect, our offering is generally used in combination with other flame retardants, such as antimony oxide. Additionally, polymers, paints, and inks all contain DIPO. Its flame-retarding qualities make it particularly valuable in the fabrication of electrical and electronic components. Disphenyl isooctyl phosphite has also been used as a plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyurethane, and other polymers. It works well as a plasticizer at low concentrations.
