Tris (tridecyl) phosphite is used as a stabilizing and antioxidant component. It is an odourless, colourless liquid with a low boiling point. This chemical can be used in a range of applications because it is miscible with the majority of organic solvents. It serves as a UV absorber, oxidation inhibitor, and polymer stabilizer. In addition to this, the said offering is used as an antioxidant to prevent the oxidation of some organic components and to lessen polymer discolouration. Additionally, tris (tridecyl) phosphite serves as a stabilizer in formulas for polyurethane foams, polyester resins, and polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
